Team Work
I have been neglecting my FHE blog. We have had FHE pretty consistently, but I am just too busy, lazy, preoccupied or otherwise to post anything. Besides, I honestly don't think anyone ever checks it! Anyway we decided to just have a good time on the back yard the other night. We sang 2 children's songs and 1 hymn and said a prayer and then we basically just got into teams---usually Dad with Ava and Mom with Gracie--- and just did different relay races. We taught the girls about wheelbarrow races. Ava did awesome at that! Mom totally biffed it racing against dad. It was hilarious! One thing I have learned about kids is they love feeling unity. They love feeling like a family that gets along. I can just tell by the way my kids get so excited about working and playing together that that is something very important to a child's sense of security.
