Service

We talked to the girls about service last night. We split up into groups (Dad and Ava), (Mom and Grace) and secretly did two acts of service for the opposite group. We then showed each other what we had done and talked to them about how it felt to give and receive service. We told them one really fun thing about service is when you do it anonymously. If we would have had more time we would have made cookies for a neighbor. This was just a really simple service lesson. I would like to incorporate other service lessons in the future such as serving food at a soup kitchen or things out in the community.
